Community Gallery

This year we are thrilled to be introducing a new exhibition feature to our event in Belfast. There are many groups who come together to stitch for the sheer love of needle thread and fabric, and find companionship, learning and comradery. They also stitch beautiful quilts. 

Two groups accepted our invitation to exhibit in this the inaugural year of The Community Gallery, the Granquilters from Swatragh in Northern Ireland and the Laois Quilters from the Republic of Ireland. Both groups are community based, hold an exhibition of their work locally each year, and have a strong learning ethos, and we thought our visitors to Quilt Fayre would enjoy having the opportunity to view their work. 

Each group made their own choice of quilts for exhibition , and we are looking forward to seeing their work on display in Belfast in August.
