Quilt Fayre Masterclass Series 2024

Thursday 22nd August 2024, 1.30-4pm

Room 6 Lower Level Confex Business Suite.

Join Henny on the first day at Quilt Fayre, and create one of her beautiful landscape pictures using a mixture of textiles and stitches. Your kit will contain all that you will require in textiles, but please bring a sewing kit of needle, scissors and threads.

Cost: £45 which includes your kit.

Room 6 Lower Level Confex Business Suite.

On the example of creating a small composition with a house we will consider all the stages of creating a decorative panel with closed stitch, learn how to create a composition of contrasting colors and learn all my technical secrets when working with fabric. The composition can be sewn on a sewing machine, and can also be sewn by hand.

List of supplies: Scissors, needles & pins, thread for different colours, glue pen for fabric, washable fabric pen, iron, sewing machine.

Cost £45 (plus,£15 paid direct to Galla for the kit on the day).

Kit Contents: All necessary fabrics pre-cut, filler, fabric for the back of the piece, pattern.

Friday 23rd August 2024, 11am-1pm.

Room 6 Lower Level Confex Business Suite.

In two hours, we'll create a unique miniature from scraps of beautiful fabric, lace and sequins. The centerpiece will be a character from Galla's painting. It can be framed or sent to friends as an original postcard.

List of supplies: Scissors, needles & pins, thread for different colours, glue pen for fabric, sewing machine.

Cost £45 (plus,£15 paid direct to Galla for the kit on the day).

Kit Contents: Base, character photo- print on fabric, decorative element, jewelry, all necessary fabrics, pre-cut.
