We'll be learning about crazy patchwork and the traditional 'Stitch n Flip' technique to make rather jolly crazy patchwork pieces.  Once you have the know-how, this makes for wonderful slow stitch projects, such as bags, runners & covers.  It'll help shrink your 'scrap n stash' pile (a bit!). 

We'll discuss embellishments and embroidery techniques to plan the way forward for your projects.

A lot of the base of this project could be made using a sewing machine in future.   

This will be a lovely social evening, a bit of sociable stitching and no doubt quite a bit of laughter, there certainly was last year!

requirements - a fat quarter of calico or cotton fabric that you don't have a plan for; it won't be seen.

scraps of 8 - 10 different fabrics that you like together - they don't need to be big scraps - 10" x 10"ish

A needle, a few pins, small scissors, a reel of neutral colored thread.
